Dr. David Heitmann DC, MS
Dr. Dave

 

Dr. David Heitmann, known as Dr. Dave, is the founder and owner of Integrated Sport and Spine.

Education 

Dr. Dave received his Bachelor's of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Clairein 2004. Shortly after, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Logan College of Chiropractic in 2007 and his Master's degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan Universityin 2008. Outside of the classroom, Dr. Dave completed a sports medicine internship at UW Health.  

Current Appointments

Dr. Dave is currently the team physician for three local organizations:

·         Madison United Rugby

 

·         Madison Cougars

 

·         Team in Training

Team in Training is an organization of athletes who run marathons and triathlons to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Madison United Rugby includes the Wisconsin Rugby Club, the Women's Wisconsin Rugby Club, and the high school rugby clubs while the Madison Cougars is the local women's local semi-pro tackle football team. For these organizations, Dr. Dave is responsible for the on-field care of the athletes. He also provides seminars on sport specific training, nutrition, and injury prevention for athletes.

Community Service

Optimist Member - Downtown Madison: The Optimists are dedicated to helping the youth of our city.

Elk Member - The Elk are one of the nation's largest charitable organizations. They provide help to a wide variety of people.

What Dr. Dave can do for YOU!

Above all, Dr. Dave's goal is to provide each patient with the best care possible by incorporating all aspects of healthcare. In all patient cases, regardless of condtion or serverity, Dr. Dave will work with all of the patients healthcare providers to get them feeling better as quickly and comprehensively.
